In August 2010, at a pivotal moment for Delhi’s evolving contemporary art landscape, Bhavna Minocha presented Fusion by Poetry in Frames. The exhibition marked an important cultural moment, bringing together a remarkable spectrum of artistic practices across India. Curated by the celebrated artist and curator Bina Aziz, the exhibition featured a diverse array of mediums including mixed media, glass, bronze, oil paintings, acrylics, etchings, and serigraphs. The visual range of the show — from abstract geometry and expressive landscapes to figurative works and sculptural forms — positioned it as one of the most dynamic multidisciplinary exhibitions of the time.

A key feature of Fusion by Poetry in Frames was its ability to unite both established contemporary masters and emerging talent on a common platform. Many participating artists were exhibiting in Delhi for the first time, making the show a bridge between regional art circles and the capital’s growing collector base. Bhavna Minocha’s initiative and Bina Aziz’s curatorial vision together introduced Delhi audiences to a wider, richer, and more diverse tapestry of Indian contemporary art.
