SECRETS IF LIFE- EMOTIONS, RELATIONSHIPS & US
Secrets of Life – Emotions, Relationships & Us was a special exhibition of abstract paintings curated by Bhavna Minocha in April 2016 at Instituto Cervantes, New Delhi. Presented in collaboration with the Embassies of Argentina and India, the exhibition formed part of the official celebrations marking the bicentenary of Argentina’s independence from Spain, bringing together art and cultural diplomacy in a meaningful dialogue between the two nations. Featuring forty abstract works, the exhibition explored the complexities of human emotions, relationships, spirituality, and the unseen rhythms of life.
Through themes of love, conflict, balance, and connection, each painting invited viewers to move beyond the visible and engage with deeper emotional and philosophical narratives. A distinctive aspect of the exhibition was Bhavna Minocha’s curatorial approach, which paired each artwork with a short interpretive text—ranging from poems to reflective narratives—offering audiences an entry point into the ideas behind the abstract compositions.
By making abstraction more accessible, Secrets of Life encouraged viewers to connect with the works on a deeply personal level while celebrating the ability of art to transcend cultures, languages, and borders.
