CONTINUUM- INAUGURAL EXHIBITION AT THE ART HUB, GURUGRAM
The Art Hub announces Continuum, the inaugural exhibition of its new Gurgaon space, marking a significant milestone in the gallery’s ten-year journey and its evolution into a new generational chapter. Curated by Gauri Minocha, the exhibition transforms a 5,000 sq ft domestic setting into an immersive environment where art is not merely viewed, but lived with. Continuum departs from the conventional “white cube” model. Instead, it embraces the intimacy and architectural language of a residence, where rooms, hallways, stairways, terraces, and lawns become active sites of display.
This spatial approach invites visitors to encounter art within lived environments — spaces of rest, transition, and interaction — encouraging slower looking, sensory engagement, and a deeper emotional connection. Bringing together nearly 100 artworks spanning from the 1950s to 2026, the exhibition presents a dynamic dialogue between generations of South Asian artists. Rather than following a linear historical narrative, the exhibition stages intergenerational conversations across mediums, geographies, and temporalities.
Each space within the home holds a distinct narrative, from intimate corners designed for contemplative works to larger halls that facilitate visual dialogue across practices. Outdoor terraces and lawns extend the exhibition beyond interior walls, situating works within natural light and landscape, further dissolving the boundaries between interior and exterior, private and public. Continuum embodies this philosophy by positioning art as an evolving, continuous practice — one that moves fluidly across time, space, and experience. More than an exhibition, it establishes The Art Hub Gurgaon as a living cultural environment, where visitors are invited to inhabit art rather than simply observe it.
